Anglican Orders

The Order of Corporate Reunion was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1877 as an instrument for promoting the reunion of the English Church with the Church universal.

The Order of Corporate Reunion has been authorized to regularize the orders of Anglican clergy in order that their orders might be acceptable to the Church universal. The Order undertakes this task without making any judgment about the validity of orders previously received.

Over the course of the past century and a half, hundreds of Anglican clergy have received regularization of orders at the hands of bishops of the Order of Corporate Reunion, and members of the Order of Corporate Reunion continue to serve in various Anglican denominations including the Anglican Catholic Church and the Anglican Church in America.

The Order of Corporate Reunion continues to assure all clergy serving in Anglican denominations that their status will remain confidential.

Anglican clergy desirous of regularization of orders are cordially invited to contact us.
